you probably do not know me well

to a wrenching fight against depression
year by year yeah every day
past the ghosts of promises
scars I have from childhood faith
struggle with the most basic efforts
often seems like it's always been this way

private obstacles of "what's the point"
standing amidst so many shattered lies of permanence
with total liberation your autobiography
